Having been a long time user of GHD straighteners for many years, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect from the Chronos. Well let's just say, the brilliance of these takes a few days to fully appreciate. For my hair washing cycle, I usually wear my hair straight for 2 days and then style with soft curls for days 3 and 4. My hair will straighten pretty easily, although it's quite thick so usually takes a while and often needs to be restraightened the next day. The Chronos kept my hair so straight, I didn't need to do again on day 2, even after tucking my hair behind my ear all day, this alone will improve my hair health by reducing the number of heat treatments. Another added benefit was the overall softness, the back of my hair especially (the bit that always gets forgotten) stayed so smooth even after a few nights sleep. Now, my favourite feature is when I styled it into the soft waves. The curls were so tight and didn't drop. My hair doesn't usually hold them for that long so I only finger comb them through, with the Chronos, I actually had to use a brush. Again, I usually have to redo the curls the next day but again I didn't need to. The soft curls stayed and looked great, honestly so impressed, I'm still in a little shock!!!
