The microfibre padding provides excellent heat retention as a synthetic alternative to down. Thermal tested to 40°C in a laboratory, though health, physical activity, exposure time, and perspiration may affect its performance and comfort. The jacket is treated with Water Repellent (DWR), causing droplets to bead and roll off the fabric, making it ideal for light rain or limited exposure to wet conditions.
